Our current information is that approx 100 people were arrested yesterday and held overnight. All are appearing in Edinburgh Sheriff’s court this morning charged with Breach of the Peace, apart one firearms charge.

The court has been closed to the general public and Legal Monitors are outside collecting information.

The Edinburgh Convergence centre is currently closed due to some concerns expressed by the Universtity’s security following yesterday. The Legal Briefing due to take place at midday today will now take place outside the Teviot building. The Legal Info point will also be located outside for the time being.
